I kinda feel bad because they’ve resorted to free concerts at little parks no one has heard of.

I live in a college town, and most of the crowd was less than 5 when Shrek came out. The college kids just chanted “All Star, All Star!” between every song. Here’s what’s going to happen: They are going to play one of their 5 or 6 well known songs to earn some good will, and then they’ll play as many songs that you don’t know (unless you’re actually a fan) until they crowd starts to turn before they play another hit. At some point, expect back to back Van Halen covers that sadly don’t include “Panama.” Then they’ll close with “I’m a believer” followed by “All Star” and they’ll probably invite people on stage during that song much to the dismay of security. People were climbing up the sides of the stage at my show. Oh, and Guy Fieri is completely gray haired now.

Yep! The bouncer accused me of using a fake ID. I told him that I’m trans and that changing my license isn’t easy. The bouncer then escorted me to the bar owner, who was rather disgusted at the sight of me and decided to rat me out to the police officer that was patrolling nearby. The police officer instantly defended me...though the bar owner told me that I’m not allowed in anyway.

Indeed! In total, we went to 6 bars during our trip. Only in one of them did they not have a problem with my ID.

This is a new problem. I’ve been in bars in Wisconsin without any issue before, but this was the first time after bathroom bills swept the nation.
